carlsurreyamb Posted October 7, 2012 Report Posted October 7, 2012 Hello i wonder if anyone can help... I have 1999 Galaxy Diesel and all of a sudden i have lost power, it feels like the turbo has stopped working altogeather, i have had a look through the various topics on this forum (which has saved me before!!!) and i have checked the actuator arm which seems to move freely and i have tried some 10k boost which did nothing at all!!!!! i have been advised by my local garage that the turbo needs replacing. I have everything crossed that this isnt the case :( Thanks alot Carl Quote
carlsurreyamb Posted October 7, 2012 Author Report Posted October 7, 2012 Sorry forgot something.... Today as an added bonus the Oil Light started flashing and beeping :( would this have anything to do with the power loss???? or is the flashing a whole new nightmare!!!!! Quote
jipninty Posted October 11, 2012 Report Posted October 11, 2012 i dont want to be funny but check your oil level. light comes on and buzzer sounds when oil low could be answer to turbo problem also. If you have driven like this for a long time you may have junked your engine .sorry if you have Quote
